Cookies

A cookie is a small file which is placed on a computer’s hard drive or in the browser memory to make a website work, or work more efficiently for returning visitors.

This website uses Visitor Analytics to record visitor trends. Visitor Analytics uses a cookie to track which pages are accessed. The cookie does not contain information that can be used to identify you, but it does use your computer’s IP address to determine where in the world you are accessing the site from and to track your page visits within the site.

From time to time, I may embed external content or links from third-party websites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) within this website. These websites may utilise cookies, and the privacy policy that will apply to such third-party content will be that published on the website of that third-party content provider.

Enabling/disabling cookies: You have the ability to accept or decline cookies by modifying the settings in your browser. However, this website may not function correctly if cookies are disabled.

Changes to the cookies policy: If this policy changes in any way, I will update this page. Please revisit this page regularly to ensure that you are always aware of what information this website collects and which cookies it uses.

Privacy and Data Protection Policy

  1. I collect your personal data (as defined under the GDPR) so that I can: provide you with a service; respond to your enquiries; keep you up to date with new services/availability.

  2. I keep your data while you are a client and after your project is completed (for tax purposes).

  3. I collect your data directly (i.e., when you provide your details).

  4. All project-related files for live projects are stored on a password-protected computer that only I control.

  5. The data will be held in the systems I use to carry out my business: my email provider (Gmail); invoicing and financial system (PayPal); and internal documents (e.g., spreadsheets).

  6. Files are backed up regularly to an external hard drive which is stored in a secure location and is also password protected.

  7. I do not share your personal data with third parties unless I have asked for your permission to do so.

  8. I may share project information, which may include your real name, on my website, for the purpose of promoting your project. You may opt out of this at any time by a request via email.
